Q: What is the Parent Portal?
A: The Parent Portal is a feature of the Illuminate Student Information System that provides parents/guardians immediate access to grades, assignments and attendance records in an effort to facilitate and improve communication between home and school.
Q: What can I see on the Parent Portal site?
A: Parents can access the following information: grades for current classes, attendance for the past two weeks or the whole term, teachers comments, announcements, calendar.
Q: How do I log-on for the first time?
A: Go to https://illuminatehc.com/mpusd/ or click on the Parent Portal Link on the right. Enter your First and Last Name and Access Code that you received from your school.
Q: I did not receive an access code or I misplaced mine. How do I get an access code?
A: Use the contact information above to contact Stephanie Bouche so she can get you an access code.
Q: When do teachers post their grades / assignments?
A: Teachers will post assignments at the minimum every two weeks. Grades will be posted within two weeks of the Grade due date. See Grading and Communications Board Policies for more information.
