Central Coast High School Celebrates Career Week

Last week on October 23-26, Central Coast High School and Community Day School celebrated Career Week!

Thanks to the efforts of College and Career Planning Specialist, Kimberly Moir, and substitute teacher, Dennise Jackson, our students were able to connect with and learn from various industry and community partners, including:

MPUSD Early Childhood Education, Sheet Metal Workers', Marines, Nor Cal Carpenters' Union, Waste Management, United Way Preschool Service Corps, San Jose Job Corps, Side Affects Barbershop, Monterey County Free Libraries, SPCA of Monterey County, Monterey Bay Aquarium, MPUSD Human Resources, Monterey Plaza Hotel, Joby Aviation, Monterey Salinas Transit, City of Monterey Recreation, Pebble Beach Company, Weather Tech Laguna Seca, City of Seaside Youth Center, and Wayne's College of Beauty.

Independent Studies students who are on-campus at the time were also welcome to explore the Career Fair.

Our students were well-engaged and asked questions of the partners. Thanks to the coordinators of Career Week and our partners, Career Week was a huge success!
